WHAT IS TPFC Youth Club?TPFC Youth Club was created by The Pas Friendship Centre Inc. It’s a program that provides members with the resources and activities to build self-confidence, communication, and leadership skills while learning about a topic or topics of their choice. Activities include arts, language, environment, leadership, business, food skills, culture, and community work. The biggest hope however is that our youth have fun and learn something new!WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?It means TPFC Youth Club is like Girl Guides, Cadets, or Scouts that kids can sign up for but there’s no uniforms, badges, or pins. They participate in an activity/program of their choosing and that activity runs once a week for an hour for about 5-10 weeks.CAN MY YOUTH TAKE ON MORE THAN ONE ACTIVITY?Yes! Once a youth has signed up for TPFC Youth Club, they can take as many activities as they wish as long as the scheduling doesn’t conflict. We just ask that they attend regularly as space can be limited.WILL THERE BE MORE AND NEW ACTIVITIES IN THE FUTURE?If there is interest and a leader is willing to volunteer their time, any activity can be offered.
